Martine goes through some tough times in Chapters 1-3. Pick one thing that Martine has gone through, how she handles it, and how you might have handled it if you were her.
In chapters 1-3 Martie loses her mom and dad in a blazing house fire. Martine handles it by trying to forget about it. If I were Martine I would do the same thing she did.
There where many hard times that Martine went through, with her parents dieing or her in all. But one of the hardest things that she went through was having to leave her home town in Englend. And when she leaft for her legal garden that she has never met...her grandmother. She had never even known that she had a grandma. She didn`t want to GO at ALL. But she dealed with it, and leaft for Cape Town, South Africa. But who knows what will happen next? Well... we will just have to find out in the next few chapters.
If I were Martine When her parents died I would try to be strong and move on with my life.
